Recycled PVC cores are manufactured from an internally produced
UPVC-RI-EPI compound
The use of UPVC-RI-EPI compound in the production of cores guarantees excellent mechanical and aesthetic features, comparable to virgin PVC, but with a lower environmental impact.
Its application is extremely varied: around 90% of the cores are used for winding industrial flexible packaging, agricultural film, woven and non-woven geotextiles.
The remaining part of the market is divided between the construction sector and abrasive manufacturers. Pipes have outside diameters from 25 mm to 177 mm and thicknesses varying between 1 mm and 13 mm; the largest productions are 3, 5 and 6 inch inside diameters (76, 128 and 152 mm).
Each production batch is tested in our in-house laboratory before being shipped to the customer.
